The National Cancer Institute considers anyone diagnosed with cancer to be a cancer survivor beginning at diagnosis. We use this definition in our study because we are interested in learning about survivors’ experiences and quality of life as they receive their cancer diagnosis, live with cancer, and beyond.

Thank you for letting me participate in your survey/research. Having daughters and a son I worry about their health in the future and if I can do anything to help to contribute to more advancement in cancer research it makes me feel like I am doing something for my children's future.
